About PAFA
Located at 118-128 N Broad St in the heart of center city, Philadelphia, The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts is a museum and art school founded in 1805 and is the first and oldest art museum and art school in the United States. The academy's museum is internationally known for its collections of 19th and 20th-century American paintings, sculptures, and works on paper. Its archives house important materials for the study of American art history, museums, and art training.

Gorgeous Wedding Portraits
PAFA’s location on Broad Street means that you are literally steps from snagging the epic “City Hall” image that Philadelphia weddings are known for. But step inside the academy and you’re given a multitude of options for your portrait session. The hidden galleries boast busts of famous artists, while the grand staircase and large painting installments bring a lot of drama. PAFA also has private roof access, where on a clear day, you can achieve some beautiful Philly architecture images.
Receptions at PAFA: Dance the Night Away in an Art-adorned Rotunda
After your ceremony, guests continue their journey in the gallery overlooking the grand staircase and browsing the myriad of artists on display. When it’s time to party, there’s no shortage of space for your entrance, first dance and epic party in the gorgeous rotunda-style space. Seating up to 165 guests, PAFA’s space allows guests to enjoy a great view of the festivities, as well as mingle and move!
