Working Together

Getting Started

Choosing a wedding photographer can be an overwhelming process. There are many options, lots of styles, and an array different products—all for one day. A day that is one of the most important memories that should be perfectly and authentically captured.

To kick things off, we will invite you to a 1 hour consultation in order for us to get to know each other, learn about your wedding, and share our deeper portfolio and approach. This meeting is a vital step to ensure that your vision is understood and is aligned to our offering. These meetings can take place in our studio or via Zoom video.

After this meeting, we find most clients feel fully informed on how we capture, edit, price and deliver wedding images—helping them make a decision about their investment.

Timeline and Preparing for the Big Day

About 2 months prior to your wedding, we send you a questionnaire that captures the details of your day from start to finish. This helps us fully understand your day-of flow, desired shots, important people to focus on, and any details that shouldn’t be missed. We will meet again via phone about a month prior to wedding day to review this information, and together, formulate a timeline that allows us to provide the proper coverage while still allowing you to enjoy your wedding.

Post Wedding

The real magic happens after the wedding day concludes, as we edit and prepare to deliver your images. Since all wedding collections include an album, we get the opportunity to meet again in order to design a beautiful wedding album together.

Scheduled typically 8 to 12 weeks post wedding, these in-person album reveal session is designed to both reveal your full wedding gallery and finalize your album and wall art choices. We take the time to pre-design an album for you based on the highlights of your day, but ultimately you will work with us to choose the final photos for your book.

Engagement Sessions

Engagement sessions are a great test run for being in front of the camera prior to wedding day. You also get images you can use in myriad ways—from save the dates, to wall art in your home, your wedding website, or custom guest books.

Should you choose to add an engagement session to your collection, we help with scheduling, location selection, and even tips on what to wear, to ensure you have a great session and an output that meets your vision. Spring and fall are the most popular times of year to host these, but ultimately it’s whenever it feels right for you.

Engagement sessions are 90 minutes in length and galleries are delivered in two weeks or less from the session date, so you can quickly access your gallery.

The Big Day

Once wedding day arrives, you only have one job: to get married! Our team will arrive at the time discussed and ensure the flow of the day happens as ordered. If you have a professional wedding planner, we will communicate with them prior to wedding day to align on the timeline and details.

In order to create a collection of photographs that is unique to each couple, we act as your “personal paparazzi” - being both close up and far away, depending on the scenario and moment. While we do provide direction during portraits to ensure optimal photographic conditions, it is important that your true personalities are documented rather than forcing the same pose or image time and time again. Our goal is to make everyone comfortable, and have lots and lots of fun.
