Romantic Wedding at The Lucy by Cescaphe
When they say “saved the best for last” that definitely applies to our day with Adam and Patrice, our final wedding of 2018 at the Lucy by Cescaphe.
OK, we already knew they were cool since they came to us via a previous client (hi Heidi and Michael!), and of course, they rocked their engagement session along with their dog Hank this past fall… and they were only the second wedding to be hosted a Cescaphe’s newest venue, The Lucy. But overall Patrice and Adam are just a really sweet, down to earth couple who love each other like crazy. Which of course, makes our jobs of capturing their day, super fun.

Before kicking off their Lucy wedding, we had a great first look at a nearby rooftop, and then made our way to Broad Street for some classic images before stopping at the Union League for a few more portraits. After, we headed inside the Lucy for some bridal party and family photos on the sleek black staircase.
Patrice didn’t make it very far into the ceremony before showing her emotional side (we love that!). The space was adorned with a flower wall and tons of white and gold elements to tie with the theme. Patrice’s father’s white tux was giving us serious nostalgia, as we all shed a tear over Patrice and Adam’s sentimental vows.
We admit that the Lucy reception space looks different now. One thing to note was that Patrice and Adam hosted only the SECOND wedding ever in the new space. Some of the finer details weren’t yet done, but it still was elegant nonetheless.
But when it was time to party with literally the best wedding band we’ve ever heard, the guests showed that their love in so many ways. Tearful yet funny speeches, a friend singing with their band, and a rendition of “Shout” where we were warned things get wild . We’ll admit, it was hard to select the blog pics for this one, because there were just so many awesome moments.
Now that Patrice and Adam are done planning their Lucy Wedding, they are off on their honeymoon. Have a few for us in Napa!
