Alexandra + Nick | Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia Wedding

If you’re looking for elegance, then there’s nothing quite like a Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia wedding.

When we first met Alexandra + Nick via video, we knew it was a fit when their King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Jolly, also showed up to the meeting (being a cavvie owner ourselves!). The day started with each getting ready with their gang in lovely suites at the hotel. Alex and her girls were super festive in their matching red flannels, and Nick got comfy in the hotel’s plush robes. Both looked so elegant once they put on their formal wear, and it was time to get the show on the road!

Alex and Nick chose the stunning National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia for their church ceremony. Being that Christmas had just happened, the church was beautiful decorated for the season and provided a breathtaking backdrop. Alex was all smiles throughout the ceremony, you could tell she was so excited that their big day was finally here.

After the receiving line concluded, we took advantage of the beautiful altar for some formal photos. Then we hopped on the trolly to get back to Center City where we (literally) ran around capturing some iconic shots before the sunset. We managed to get LOVE park, City Hall and the classic broad street photos before using the ornate lobby in the Ritz Carlton for some indoor portraits.

After the couple’s photos concluded, it was time to party as the band heated up the dance floor. After hearing emotional parent and maid of honor speeches, Alexandra reveal her big surprise: a Backstreet Boys flash mob! Nick was truly surprised and the girls nailed the dance set.

Their guests were certainly feeling festive, as once dinner concluded, the dance floor was packed. Congrats, Alex + Nick and thanks for choosing us to capture your Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia wedding!
