About Union Trust
A perfect location at 717 Chestnut Street, nestled in the Historic District of Philadelphia, Union Trust belongs to the family Finley Catering venues. Union Trust was built in 1888, and once served as the Union Trust Company Bank. With its sixty-foot soaring ceilings and wrap-around balcony, this unique venue is a fave for couples who are having a modest-size wedding but still want a grand space. Union Trust can accommodate 120-190 guests.
Wedding Ceremonies at Union Trust
Make a grand entrance down the beautiful stone staircase that drops you into a long space for extra drama as you descend up the aisle. Your photographer will be able to capture the birds-eye view from the balcony, as guests gaze up at the 60-foot ceilings. Exit up to the bridal suite before emerging to enjoy cocktail hour with guests on the balcony.
Gorgeous Wedding Portraits
Union Trust’s location on Chestnut Street puts steps from historical locations that are a fave of Philly couples for wedding portraits. Nearby Merchant’s Exchange Building and Second Bank of the United States give off a whole lot of history, but save time for photos inside the venue, the bar, adorned archways, and even a hidden bank vault offer a lot of variety.
Receptions at Union Trust: Pack the Dance Floor and Throw an After Party
After your ceremony, guests continue their journey up to the balcony, overlooking the reception space. Depending on your wedding size, a few options for arrangement are offered. Don’t like the narrow layout fool you: both bands and DJs can find ample space. Finely Catering also offers after-party packages with drinks, bites and a DJ on the mezzanine to keep the good times going!
