Same-Sex Wedding at Tendenza by Cescaphe

It’s always a treat to photograph a Tendenza wedding. Selfishly, it’s only a few blocks from our house. But more so, it’s a stunning Cescaphe wedding venue that has a lot of style.

So it was Dan and Troy’s wedding day, and it was the first (and so far, only) snowfall of 2020 and Philadelphia instantly turned into a beautiful winter wonderland. Troy and Dan started their morning of preparations by getting ready together at Loews Hotel. After their matching tuxes were ready to go, we ventured into the great white to snap some elegant photos.

We started at City Hall, which always provides a classic backdrop for wedding images, as well as a bit of shelter from the snow! However, it was time to brave the snow once we arrived at Race Street Pier. But we were glad they did, since it made for stunning photos!

Once everyone arrived at Tendenza, the groom and groom were married under Tendenza’s gorgeous chandelier, as the room was set up in a circle theater style so all guests could watch this adorable couple say I do.

After guests enjoyed cocktail hour at Tendenza’s stunning floor-to-ceiling bar, we headed into the ballroom for more than one emotional speech, before the couple hit the dance floor and the photo booth to party the night away.
