Opulent Greek Wedding at Crystal Tea Room

There’s probably nothing we enjoy more about weddings than getting to experience so many various cultures and traditions. So when Meropi (Popi) and Antoni (Tony) booked us for their big Greek-Italian wedding we were ecstatic. The couple got ready in separate locations before we met up at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Philly. This incredible ornate church was a wonderful backdrop for Popi and Tony’s traditional wedding ceremony. Popi looked stunning walking down the aisle as Tony laid on eyes on her for the first time in her wedding attire. Post ceremony we took advantage of a beautiful day for portraits by hitting up some classic Philly spots like Merchant’s Exchange Building, City Hall and Broad Street. We made it back to the Crystal Team Room to kick off the reception, which was, as you can imagine, full of traditional Greek dances and lots and lots of dollar bills. Not to mention, lots and lots of laughter. Congrats, Popi and. Tony!
