Festive Holiday Wedding at Normandy Farm
We are lucky to shoot a lot of Normandy Farm weddings, and this time it was for Abby + Jim. From the moment we met them, we loved them. Warm, genuine, heartfelt and funny - we clicked instantly. The day was super fun with all the gals getting ready together in matching flannels, while Jim got ready at his parent’s home not too far away. After some must-have pool table photos, Jim headed to Normandy Farm to meet his bride, Abby. At the same time, Abby was opening a surprise gift from Jim that arrived in a little blue box.
We managed to sneak outside for a few pics before the rain started, but not before we had a fun first look and made our way around the venue snapping pics. Normandy has so many photo ops, it’s almost impossible to get them all in one session, which makes it a great year-round venue.
The couple chose to get married in the larger ballroom at Normandy Farms. The ceremony started with a flower girl stealing the show, and Jim was beaming with anticipation seeing Abby walk down the aisle. It was a short, but very sweet ceremony, and all the twinkle lights made it so romantic.
Being that it was so close to Christmas, the couple embrace the festive season but still kept the farmhouse chic vibe that naturally is Normandy Farm. The decor was simple with sprigs of evergreen and soft white candles. The couple enjoyed a really fun first dance before their friends and family told sweet stories to toast the newlyweds. We managed to pop out side for bridal party champagne photo, even if it was quite cold! The DJ kept the dance floor packed until the bitter end as Abby and Jim showed their best moves. Congrats, you two - and thank you for having us capture your Normandy Farm Wedding!
