Elizabeth and William had the perfect wedding planned at ONE North Broad, but when COVID put a damper on big parties, the couple decided they wanted to make it official anyways instead of moving their wedding a second time. So they opted to keep their postponed date of October 31, 2020 and downsize to an elegant, intimate evening at the Union League.

For the last day in October, we had perfect weather. The sun was beaming, creating perfect fall temperatures. Elizabeth and her gals got ready together in the Ritz-Carlton apartments, while Will and his guys squeezed into a small hotel room for their pre-wedding fun. We all met at Merchant’s Exchange Building for a cute first look, before an epic portrait session around the area, including Elfreth’s Alley and City Hall, before heading to the Union League for the ceremony and reception.

Will and Elizabeth chose the library for their nuptials, which is fitting since Will reads more than anyone we know, and the theme was clear. Elizabeth gifted him a first edition Shakespeare book, and Will gave each his guys a book that resembled them. The backdrop was perfect for the event that held just 25 people. After, the group moved into a dining room space that was perfectly decorated and adorned with handmade napkins and place settings by the bride herself. Nearly everyone stood up to give a short speech and well-wishes to the couple, before concluding with cake. Congrats, Elizabeth and Will!
