Elegant Crystal Tea Room Wedding

You know you’re in for an elegant wedding when a couple chooses to plan a Crystal Tea Room wedding! And Monica and Michael’s day was not only elegant, but super chill and really true to themselves. The day started with preparations at the Ritz Carlton Philadelphia - which is a perfect location right by city hall. The views from the hotel room alone are worth it! Monica and Michael decided to forgo a wedding party, so the prep was relaxed, even if Monica was a little nervous! But once she donned that stunner of a dress, it was time to head to the church.

A classic limo escorted us to classic Catholic church in Philly. Michael was beaming as Monica ascended the aisle with her father, and the smile stayed on throughout the entire ceremony. You could tell once they were married they were so excited to Mr. and Mrs.! After a few quick photos on the altar, it was time for their Philly portraits!

Wouldn’t you know, we'd have one of the windiest days of the year, when we had one of the longest veils of the year. We quickly snapped their Broad Street photo before taking shelter under City Hall for some some stunning portraits. After, we snuck into Crystal Tea Room early for some images under the awe-inspiring chandelier.

We always love when a couple incorporates personal details into their day, and Monica and Michael did just that with their dog Thatcher. The Crystal Tea Room looked elegant as always as Monica and Michael made their entrance and the band belted out their first dance. Heartfelt toasts were given by the Father and Brother of the bride, as well as friends of the groom. Once dinner concluded, the cake was cut and the dance floor opened. The band brought the house down and Monica and Michael’s guests danced the night away. Thank you Monica and Michael for having us capture your Crystal Tea Room wedding!
