Kimmel Center Wedding | Laura + Michael
What seemed like a wedding several years in the making —because it in fact was — finally came to life on a tremendous day in late September. Yes, our final “Covid Couple” were now able to have their big wedding day and it was absolute perfection.
When you have 3 year gap from booking to wedding, it starts to feel like you really know the couple, which was welcomed since Laura + Michael are amazing people. We knew they preferred us to be super hands-off (we really don’t like posed photos!, they said) and of course we were all about this. Michael and Laura are also so freakin’ natural and bubbly that approximately zero promps were needed to get some amazing captures.
Laura and Michael’s friends and family were no exception — we swear we have never seen a collective group of people so comfortable with the camera. From a pillow fight during prep, to a wide range of emotions at the ceremony, and an opening first dance number of “Some Enchanted Evening” sung by the couple’s dear friend, this day was so effortless and easy, it was 100% worth the 3 year wait. Not to mention, the views at Philly’s Kimmel Center are to die for, and many guests enjoyed taking advantage of the City Hall views from the balcony.
Congrats, Laura and Michael!
