Decadent Wedding at Arts Ballroom | Kim + Kyle

From the moment we met Kim and Kyle, it was obvious Kimmy had a wedding vision that was going to be executed flawlessly. After meeting them for their engagement session, we knew we were right. As the big day rolled around, the couple’s plans fell into place, even if the the threat of a little rain was attempting to spoil a first look at Race St Pier. But, as the day opened with a lot of laughter and surprises (mainly in the form of confetti poppers and McDonald’s), it was clear that the couple was going to roll with whatever the weather gave us.

And so, this adorable couple braved a light mist for a stunning first look at Race St Pier (big props to Kim for lugging her incredibly heavy dress all the way out to the end!). After, we headed to 18th Century Garden for more portraits and then a surprise happened…both Kim’s dress and Kyle’s pants suffered a wardrobe malfunction. We had a decision to make: more pictures or an emergency visit to the tailor. Instead, we did both. The tailor took our crew in and sewed Kim and Kyle right up while allowing us to document the fantastically funny scene, just in time to make the ceremony.

Kim and Kyle have a very warm and loving group of family and friends; all night long there were lots of hugs, tears, laughter and stories to go around—and everyone was so happy to celebrate these two. The band serenaded the group well into the night, and paused long enough for us to sneak out to Broad St for a night portrait. Congrats Kim + Kyle!
