Wissahickon Valley Park Engagement

Sometimes, not having much of a plan at all for your engagement session can reveal places you never knew existed. That’s exactly what happened for Alex and Kim. For starters, we unfortunately had to reschedule this DC-based couple due to a massive rainstorm. But luckily, it worked out since Kim and Alex visit frequently. For the second try we had a much better day of weather.

We chose Wissahickon Park to give the couple a contrasting vibe to what they will have on wedding day at the Franklin institute. The nature vibes, golden sun and willingness to hike and move around led us to some great backdrops, including a cool covered bridge. By the time we left the park, we were using cell phone lights to guide our way, but it was completely worth it. Congrats, Kim and Alex!
