Ryan + Jake | The Bradford Estate

It was our first time photography a Bradford Estate wedding, but not the last!

Jake and Ryan definitely define our fave type of couple to work with: they are laid back, well-traveled, and are very, very much in love. Throughout the planning process for their Bradford Estate wedding, we not only swapped wedding stories, but gave each other travel tips on Vietnam and South Africa (Ryan served in the peace corps there). Then Ryan told us she was moving to Ann Arbor, MI for grad school at U of Michigan - Ashley's alma mater! It was no coincidence that during one of our final meetings before the wedding, we had Michigan basketball on in the background. ;) 

When it was time for their Bradford Estate wedding, we all watched the weather closely as it was calling for a chance of rain. But rain it did not and we spent a lot of time outside. Ryan and her girls took advantage of the Bradford Estate’s lovely bridal suite, before we snapped their first look at nearby Kirby's Mill. Filled with emotional, Ryan and Jake braved the woods for some stunning pics and then we drove back to the Bradford Estate for more lovely images

The Bradford Estate has a stunning outdoor ceremony space, which was the site of their heartful vows, tears and laughs. After the ceremony, the party kicked off! Their Bradford Estate wedding reception was led by the band Good, Clean, Fun, while the entire crew danced the night away, finally ending the night with Toto's "Africa". How fitting.
